DEIB Spotlight
Would you like to act as a volunteer Advisor? Are you hiring intern(s)?
Career Spring is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting first-generation and/or low-income students (FGLI) by providing access to career information and advice, a network of thousands of professional connections, and job placement services. They work with companies nationwide to provide access to emerging FGLI talent, volunteer opportunities, or early career identification programs.
The CareerSpring FORWARD program aids participants in identifying strengths, exploring career options, and gaining confidence for internships and employment. During the summer, it offers a three-week paid internship to college sophomores or juniors, featuring industry introductions, shadowing, project work, expert presentations, and a concluding capstone presentation.

Live Our +1 Credo
Acceptance and tolerance are created by actively expanding our boundaries of understanding. Add +1 thing to things you do every day- read a book you wouldn't otherwise read, listen to a song you wouldn't otherwise listen to, or sponsor a diverse colleague.
An Agile Mindset
The goal of the listening tour is to assess if your company values match its actions. When words and actions do not match, employees can feel isolated, confused, and disengaged. Interested in this topic? You can help AngelSpeaking to understand trends on how well organization action and words match by filling in the questionnaire below.

Get Involved
Build your emerging talent pipeline while giving valuable experience to future technologists with The Industry Scholars Program (ISP). ISP aims to set NYC public school students on a path to a successful career. This program is not just about enriching young minds; it's an investment in the future of tech and the workforce.
Here's what you need to know:

The program will not cost you. The city will cover the scholar's pay, at a rate of $15/hour, and provide them with liability insurance.
-
The work opportunities can either be physical, remote or hybrid.
-
The first session will be held from February 5th to March 29th. The deadline for partnership is 22nd December.
-
The work opportunity should be 80hrs in total, at 10-15hrs a week.
